Adrian Purvis was a Cinnabar citizen and an officer of the Republic of Cinnabar Navy.
Biography[]
A cousin of the Mundys of Chatsworth, he served aboard the battleship RCS Aristoxenos when the Three Circles Conspiracy was discovered and all those involved with it were proscribed. Along with Admiral O'Quinn and the rest of the crew, Purvis fled from Republic space and eventually arrived in the Galactic North. Once there, the Aristoxenos crew allied with Governor Sakama, who wanted independence from the Commonwealth of God. After the battleship all but annihilated a Commonwealth fleet six months later, that goal was achieved.
The ship remained in orbit of Todos Santos as a deterrent, and its crew, including Purvis, made a comfortable living on the surface.3:4
Purvis was visited by his sole surviving cousin, Adele Mundy, in 5148 CE. After a few tours around the North, she and Lieutenant Daniel Leary returned, asking the aged crew to assist them in fighting an Alliance military buildup, thus redeeming them in the eyes of Cinnabar's public.
Despite being barely functioning due to lack of maintenance and a shortage of trained crew, the Aristoxenos took part in the battle against the Alliance cruiser AFS Bluecher, during which Commander Purvis was killed.3:32
